Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 19 Jan 2026

Good evening everyone

Seems that the year is fast slipping away almost like the coolness we had over this month. Today was the first day that I was really sweating again, hmmm preparing for the onslaught that is coming in April. The cool weather was good for the cashew farmers and rice farmers but now we need a bit of rain to give the cashews a boozed before they are fully ripe to harvest. Otherwise the flowers die and become black. That is why farmers spend a lot of money on spraying the trees to protect it from getting bad. That cost a lot of money and that is why the money is already finish by the time the harvest is coming. Farming is really not for sissies.

I prepared a 100+ little cars to bring to the refugees on Wednesday. I will accompany Isaac again and hope to bless some children as well. The children are really on my heart as they also experience this trauma of moving away from their homes and the effects of war, especially if they were in the thick of things. It is not easy to stay away from your own home in a makeshift house in the open. There is no money for food and the monks are telling Isaac that they ran out of food most of the days. Some areas do not even have sufficient water supply for everyone. Pray with us for a resolution between the governments to stop this war and return to their respected country.

We enjoyed Eliana, she is from Brazil, teaching yesterday in church. She was teaching on the body of Christ and that a body got many parts. She even got a play doll there and gave some people different parts of the doll to illustrate her message, very smart. I think everyone got that teaching. Grandpa and grandma is just enjoying little David and now we got another princess, Monic , Srey Lyn’s little baby as well. The office is expanding with the staff getting babies. It is always refreshing to hear testimonies of people being blessed by God.

We are preparing to go on outreach to the jungle with some friends from the USA. We are leaving on the 23-25 Jan. Please pray for safe travelling and open hearts of people to receive whatever we can offer them.

Pray for Anton to finish his trimester soon. He is bit tense as he need to do a lot of group assignments and that is teaching him some real patience to work with other students that are not as dedicated as he is. It is a new year and we are trying to make some big decisions for the rest of the year. Pray that God will help us in all the decision making.

Thanks for all your faithful prayers to us.

Love

Rossouw clan
