Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 12 Jan. 2026

I just love this time of the year as it is nice and cool. Nights are cool so cool that we do not use air-condition in this time, so save a bit of money. There are benefits in working late till 7pm as it is quite and cool and I can put my music as loud as possible, nobody minds about loud music here. One thing I will miss when we ever will go home, in Namibia they phone the police to come and shut you up. They call it noise-pollution. My neighbors make louder music than me when they relax, so I just join into the culture. Do what locals do, hahaha

I am pretty busy making cars as I want to give away as many as I can. It gives me joy to see the kids enjoying the cars. Such a simple way to bring joy on a face. I also join my friend Isaac on his journeys to feed the refugees. I am only the driver. Isaac and his team of PCL already helped thousands of people with daily rations of food. Such a shame that the refugee camps near town gets all the attention and the small ones in the province, nobody go to as it is a far way to drive. All the big NGO’s go around town and there are normally help in abundance where the faraway places struggle to cope with the amount of people fleeing the war.

As for now, most of the people returned to their homes in order to start over again. There are lots of destruction from the Thailand soldiers and bombs being dropped. At the moment people need to be very careful as there are lots of unexploded ammunition lying around. We visited a few places the other day and people were so happy to see Isaac helping them. He shared to me that people that donate money is not rich people but rather old people on pension that give. There are definitely good people out there. We did not lose our hope in humanity.

Twans fell down with small David on her arm and in order not to hurt David she fell badly on her arm. We did not take an x-ray but I am sure she cracked it as she was in bad pain. I bind the arm up every day and she is not allowed to ride bike and now Junmar is picking her up every morning and the students, going to university, come and drop here again. Her arm is on the mend but I still keep her of the bike, heart headed German blood in her veins.

It is such a joy to go to church and get the chance to play with little David. He is so cute now and love to sit with anyone that is willing to pick him up. Miss my kids so much but I am happy to give him to his mum if he cries, haha. Love to see the children loving the Lord so much and that they are so serious with the Lord.

Thank you for all your prayers.

Love

Rossouw-clan
