Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night 5 Jan. 2026

Good evening dear family and friends,

"The God who fills the universe imploded to become a peasant baby who had to learn to walk and talk and dress himself. In the incarnation, God's Son deliberately "handicapped" himself, exchanging omniscience for a brain that learned Aramaic phoneme by phoneme, omnipresence for 2 legs and an occasional donkey; omnipotence for arms strong enough to saw wood.... Instead of overseeing a hundred billion galaxies at once, he looked out on a narrow alley in Nazareth..... Because of Jesus, we need never question God's desire for intimacy. " (Reaching for the Invisible God by Philip Yancey) Read this a week ago and it's still speaking to me, to humble myself, to forgive, to look at Jesus.

Apo's Mom and Dad came by over the New Year. Always a joy to see them. They come to collect supplies for Apo's catheter and wounds. So faithful in taking care of their son amidst very hard circumstances. Gave away another 100 cars. Thankful to continue Gideon's legacy in this small way. Thank you for your prayer for Anton. He shared the other night that he had another conversation with an atheist boy and he is looking forward to talk with him again.

One of our staff's father passed away last week. Please pray for the family for comfort and peace. During the father's sickbed, the mother shared that the Christians are good, they help and pray. Pray that this testimony would bring her to consider and ask more questions about Jesus.  Twans shares how you can see more clearly what people really believe at a funeral. The family painted a white cross on the baby's forehead. They explained that it is to prevent the Grandfather's spirit, who passed away, from entering the baby.  Quite a number of her students would share how they see ghosts, especially at night.  Please continue to pray for them, especially the young believers who are confronted with spiritual practices and beliefs and a "battle not against flesh and bone."

Thank you for your continues prayers

Love
