Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 29 December 2025

Good evening everyone from the last Monday in 2025. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you. May this new year be blessing for you all and all your dreams be fulfilled in this coming year. All I know is that 2026 is coming and further than that I cannot think……

Thank you all for praying for Cambodia and Thailand. They got to talk on 27 December and agreed to a 72 hour peace deal and after that more talks on the implementing of the deal. Miracles still happens these days and we wait till tomorrow at 12 midday to see if the deal can go ahead. So keep on praying for the fighting to truly stop and the 2 sides can start working together to clear mines and that the refugees and go back to the country side. To many people lost all the belongings as the spoils of war were taken back to the aggressor. Lots of media posts from Thailand where their soldiers stole bikes and tractors and ransack people’s homes. Well we pray that the war stop and people can have peace once more.

We had a great visit with Anton here for the week of Christmas. So nice to see how University is shaping our little boy. He is working hard and is very dedicated in his work. They had to do online classes the whole week, but that did not keep him from visiting with his good friends the Warrens family as well as the Smiths family. Their kids are the best. He is back for a month and then he can come and visit again. I wish I was in school to get so much holidays but if I think of the learning that idea fly out of the room.

Yesterday we had a small Christmas celebration at River of Life church. Yours truly had to preach and instead of throwing the poor people with the Bible, I rather explain to them all about the birth of Jesus and where Christmas came from. It was so heartwarming to see some old students coming and join us to worship. I did not even recognize one of the girls as I did not see here in many years. It is wonderful to know that they are in a church and doing well. Toinette was just so happy to see all her students presenting the Gospel through dancing and was telling me the history of each kid. The difference in them is precious. Jesus made them even more special. Truly a great work has been done in FGC Cambodia or as it is known now Good Shepherd Center. Check them out on Facebook: Good Shepherd Rol  https://www.facebook.com/argiefernandez.rol.9

Thank you once again for your prayers and may this new year brings you much joy and happiness in the Lord.

Love
