Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 2 Aug 2021

Wow, a whole week passed, feels like I wrote our Monday Night update just yesterday. We're reminded to protect and develop the time, talents, and treasures that God has allocated to us during our three-score and ten years on this planet (Ps 90:10).... even during the lockdown. Yes, we are in lockdown again. Especially the provinces bordering Thailand and Siem Reap.

We really want to thank all of you who reached out, trying to help and praying for our brother, Jean. He is still in the ICU but already trying to breathe on his own.  He tires quickly but they control his breathing. We believe God is touching him. While praying,  Twans saw a picture of David fighting Goliath and how God is handing him the slingshot and the stones. Please continue to pray for Jean.

The boys started their Welding Workshop last week. The first day was a bit challenging but they gained more confidence and made a lot of progress. This week JunMar, their teacher, will give them a project to finish. We are very thankful to JunMar and his team from Men of Dignity (also a ministry of FGC Community Link) for this great opportunity for the boys to learn a new skill.

Please pray for Gideon as he got badly infected eyes. Puss forms in the corners of his eyes and makes for pretty bad pain. He is very frustrated and we need to be careful how to handle him. So please pray for us as a family that we can deal with small things in the house. We refuse to complain as there are so many people suffering around us. We rather want to believe in our beloved God and healer/provider that help each and every one of us.

Love

Rossouw-clan
