Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 5 July 2021

Good evening dear family and friends,

A friend sent us this verse today. "for the Lord your God will hold your right hand saying to you Don't be afraid, I will help you" (Isaiah 41:13)
We are having visa and passport drama over here. Children's passports expire next year and visas here will only be granted if passport valid longer than 6 months. Then Gideon just turned 18 and now cannot get his visa under us anymore. Go home when so that we could still return with valid visas in our passports etc etc.
Immigration offices not giving clear answers, not all the staff working due to lockdown, etc etc etc. Throughout all the stress and going back and forth there is the still small voice saying, Keep calm, the Lord has "opened the Red Sea" for you so many times, will He not take away and show you the way now as well. So we will pray and ask you all to pray for guidance and open doors, please.

During online classes with the students, we asked the students to take pictures of them with their dads and send them to us to print and then they folded a picture frame and gave the pictures to their dads. At first, they sent us pictures of them standing almost a meter away from their dad, with straight faces and bodies, so serious. We asked them to take again and be "closer and happier".  I got emotional looking at them standing with their dads and realizing again that they need our Lord, His salvation, r freedom in Christ, and to know His love, His Healing.

FGC Community Link also did rice distribution again this week. We made a small pamphlet with some info on how to keep safe during Covid and also advertising our free online classes. The rice and food packs went to the families of our online students, River of Life fellowship, and other needy families in the village.  Praise God for this blessing and please pray for these families who received the food packs. Pray that we would be able to build more relationships with them and that they would come to know Jesus.

The sewing class is on a roll. We are sewing tote bags to give as gifts to visitors and maybe sell at the mission conferences. This week Twans will teach them how to sew an earphone pouch with a zipper. The staff is very eager to learn.   Those who cannot sew straight have to iron seams or do cutting. Does anyone want to order ????😁

Noak is doing well. Some days her mind seems to go a bit haywire but usually, she is her chatty self and loves a joke. Please pray as we are sharing more and more about Christ, pray for her for understanding and the work of the Holy Spirit in her heart.

Love
Rossouw-clan
