Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 19 July 2021

Good Evening !

Wow, we had a crazy week, and today somewhere during the panic and stress I was thinking back on the night Mordegai had the big accident. During that night so many things went wrong but always at the right time help came.  After going back and forth for longer than a month now with Gideon's visa, trying many different things, we found a travel agency that would help us, for the prize of  "an arm and a leg" of course.  And then today after running back and forth between closed banks etc, panicking, friends were there to help out just in time, and others offering to help.  We also received 2 donations this month that will cover most of the cost. Praise God !  Please continue to pray for the visa renewal and also the passport renewal of our boys.

Tomorrow is D-day for us to receive our first vaccination shot. All the foreigners have to assemble at the hospital tomorrow. As usual, there is confusion and probably there would be much confusion tomorrow but we are thankful that it is available for us as foreigners. Our hearts are so painful for our home country Namibia and South Africa, where Covid is continuing to destroy lives. We are thankful for family and friends who are recovering and ask your prayer for Mordegai's 2 brothers and families who are both positive and quite sick.

Apo's Dad continues to come and visit with Mordegai in the "Wood Workshop".  He loves to check out what Mordegai is doing and come and show what he's been doing in his workshop at home. They bring their products for us to buy and sell. We hope to make an arrangement with a shop in town as this will mean some income for this hard-working family.

More students are joining the online classes. We are so happy to see old faces again. The students love story time and art class. Last week they learned all ab0ut birds and here are some of their creations.

May this week be a great week for you all. Even if things are running like mad, sit back and enjoy the ride.

Love you all

Rossouw-clan
