Good Evening our dear family and friends,
We were listening to testimony last night of a man who made a commitment to share about Jesus to 10 people every day. He walked in an area where there were a lot of soldiers. All he did was asking people whether they knew where they were going if they died. Years later one of the men whom he witnessed accepted Jesus and started sharing about this man asking him this important question. On his many travels all over the world, he would share about this man, and many people would come to him and share how they have met this man too and how they have come to know Jesus. When was the last time we shared about Jesus with someone?
We ask your prayer for our home country Namibia. The Covid's situation is bad and we hear of so many friends and family members fighting for their lives. Those who survive have a long road of recovery ahead and we all need to be faithful to support each other, faithfully pray for them. Twans's brother and sister-in-law is doing better. Thank you for your prayer.
Here the numbers are still rising as well. We are thankful for donations that came into the NGO Twans is helping in. They are planning to hand out food packets to the students' families who are struggling right now. The church, River of Life, will also hand out rice to some families. Pray with us as we hand these out to be able to share a bit about the love of Christ.
Noak is doing well. Her wound looks a bit better every day. She is trying to make her "home" more beautiful by putting some plants and flowers inside. She is always so excited when we come there and eagerly shows us whatever is new in her world that day. Lately, it is the "talking birds" (Indian Minors) across the street.
We "traveled" to Mexico this week. The boys had fun looking up some interesting facts and helping to cook the different dishes. Thankful for all these precious times with our children.
Mordegai's friends in the province contact him regularly and they are able to encourage each other. Our friend, James from Ratanakiri, send us a whole box of avocados last week. They are all so generous. So many times the poor people shame us, they give with so much joy even if they have so little, they always share.
May our God and Father be with you all in this week to come, wherever you are? May He heal you inside out and restore you from whatever you are dealing with. Trust in Him as He is still in control in this crazy world we live in.
Love

“As we love him, experience him, allow his life to fill ours, the personality of Jesus transforms our personalities. The timid become bold and the bold become patient and the patient become fierce and the uptight become free and the religious become scandalously good. “They looked to Him and were radiant” (Psalm 34: 5 NASB). They looked to Jesus and became like him. Loving Jesus helps us to become what human beings were meant to be. As Athanasius said, “He became what we are that we might become what he is.””
