Good Evening,
Wow, another week flew by!
During a video call with some of our bible study group, one of the women shared that she feels like she is in the wilderness. It continues to be a challenge to be able to reach the students and families we use to reach out to. Those who can borrow a phone, we can have a bit of time with. Our students in the village don't have internet, and when there is some internet connection it is poor. At least we can send short voice mails back and forth. The lockdown has lifted in Siem Reap but we are still not allowed to have any gatherings. What can we do for our students? Pray! Spend the time praying!
Still going to Noak every morning. She is doing well and the wound is getting better. Praise God for His faithfulness. She is reading some bible stories and loves to tell Mordegai all the stories while he is doing the wound.
Gideon and Toinette are watching "Hiding Place" from Corrie ten Boom every morning for devotions. Their faith and obedience to God is such an encouragement and reminder for each one of us. It's an old classic, but it is good to read or watch the movie to be reminded.
After the lockdown was lifted in Siem Reap, we could finally go for a bike ride in the countryside. I joined some fellow missionaries and we criss-cross some of this beautiful countryside on our bikes. Nice to be out and about. Tired was an understatement when I reached home, haven’t been out in a while due to the lockdown.
Please lift up a few of our friends that are going through a real tuff time right now due to sickness.
Judy Johnson is doing well under circumstances.
July Ann Passon is at the doctor's for more tests.
Nico Millen has only 3 chemo sessions left, he is here in Siem Reap.
Alex McCann is currently in Singapore for treatment
Over this time we think of our families and friend and we pray for their safety, their relationship with God and each other.
Love
Rossouw-clan
