Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 25 Jan.2021

Dear Family and Friends

We grew up in Namibia and these past few weeks we are longing home as we receive news and footage of rain and flooding in Namibia. It is so special to see how thankful everyone is for the rain. The Namibians will travel far, even a few hundred kilometers just to see how water fills up a dry river bed. Psalm 23: 3 “He restores my soul” and in our language Afrikaans it says “Hy verkwik my siel” meaning he refreshes it. Watching the water running in streams in the dessert I was just praising God for He restores and refreshes us. Amen !

We ask your prayer for the ACTS program in KoukResay village. Twans shares how more than 80 % of their students has dropped out of the program since the government schools opened up again. The students all attend extra classes provided by the teachers and for which they have to pay. Some teachers even ask up to a 1000riel per student per class. They have missed almost a whole year of school and since schools reopened all have moved on to the next grade so now all attend extra classes. Please pray for the FGC team for guidance on how to move forward with this new challenge.

Mordegai is going on outreach to Ratanakiri this week. He will accompany Pastor Samai to the small churches he planted in the province and do health care while Pastor Samai will spend time with the pastors. Please pray for protection, favor from the people and that the pastors would be encouraged.

May God bless you all this week?

Love

Rossouw-clan
