Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 18 Jan.2021

Good things are happening here in the North of Cambodia with friends of mine, working hard to spread the Gospel under the tribal people. Samaai is reporting that he baptized 13 new believers in Ratanakiri. He currently is building his new office for Water of Life Mission Church in Vean Say district. Please pray for him as he is away from home a lot due to the fact that his family is in Stung Treng about 3-4 hours away. Due to the Covid virus, we did not see each other a lot in this last year but hopefully, we can see each other soon.

Had to help a friend and give advice, all of that on Whatsapp, the other night. He is desperately trying to get back to his wife. She left due to him not true to her and really messed things up in his marriage. I had to confront him about all he had done and was just shocked by how young adults live these days. I am more convinced that without God these things are totally impossible to fix. It is strange that we are not interested in God when things go well, but the moment things fell down, they are ready to ask for help from God. Then when things do not work out, God is to blame again. Ugghh they can drive me mad. Thanks to social media we can talk with each other and give advice wherever needed. We get more and more foreigners that we meet and saw the destruction in their lives. Pray that our walk with some of our new friends will be blessed in all different ways.

Pray for our friend and his wife that they can reconcile and forgive each other for the bad things that came between them.

Pray for another friend who is very unhappy about her working place and circumstances living with all the other staff of her working team. Due to her work, she does not rest well and is highly stressed. She came the other day and Toinette could talk to her.

Pray that we can get Gideon’s schoolbooks from Australia. The borders are closed due to Covid so it’s stuck down under.

We praise God for all the nice and plentiful rain we received in Namibia. After a severe drought for many years, the heavens finally opened up and lots of rain came down. We praise God for the cool weather here in Cambodia. This will mean that the farmers finally can look forward to a great harvest of Cashew nuts and mangoes. We treasure this time cause we know that soon we will be back in the oven again.

Thanks once again for even reading this letter. May God bless you wherever you are and that this week will be a blessed one for you?

Love

Rossouw-clan
