Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 11 May 2026

Just finished another set of swings for another refugee camp. When they heard we made ones for the previous place they asked for them as well. I will go again with Isaack on Friday and a small team to give the children something to do. Please pray for safe travelling there and a fruitful time with the children as well as the Head of the camp. Isaack build long time relationship with them over these uncertain days. This border situation is just dragging its feet and we can only hope things will go away but then we know better to rather stay positive and help the people in the meantime. Isaack is doing a lot of fundraising to feed the refugees as there are still a lot of families hoping to return home. Pray for this situation.

The Acts program held a Mother’s Day program for the students and their mothers last Tuesday morning. Everyone took part, 2 students did a small speech to thank all the mothers, or let me rather say only 1 student did a speech, the other one cried too much and just got a “Thank You” out. One mother shared how much her son had changed in his character since he joined the Acts program and also the Children’s program on Sundays. The special part was when the children washed their mothers ‘feet and then read a card to them that they wrote earlier. There were a lot of smiles and tears. Afterwards, it was so special to see mothers holding the children’s hands or embracing them.

The Children’s program on Sundays also invited the mothers for a special program on Sunday morning. Please pray for all the seeds planted, especially on Sunday, to grow. Twans shared in the afternoon service from Isiah 49:15 and it was encouraging to hear some of the mothers in the church share afterwards. One shared that her husband doesn’t love her, he chases her away and only want her near if he want money but she knows God loves her, she is His child and He will never forget her.

We also ask your prayer for Anton. He has to apply for an internship for the last trimester of his studies. Please pray for direction and favor. He’s been sick the past week and are now on antibiotics. Please pray for healing and restoration for him.

Thank you very much once again for praying with us. To all the Namibians: Please enjoy the rain!! I am so jealous that we cannot be there as this is a very special time of the year when it rains.

Love
