Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 23 Feb.2026

Hello dear family and friends

The cool season is definitely over here in Cambodia. Whenever you meet up with someone who has been here a while, the main topic is whether the heat would be worse this April than last year.  And then we see the severe weather in other parts of the world and we stop complaining and thank God. Met with old and new friends this week and so thankful for their wisdom and encouragement, especially to Anton.

Twans shared that they had fun this week at Acts KoukResay. On Wednesday they celebrated Chinese New Year with the students. learning about the different traditions and playing dress up in Chinese costumes. The children had fun doing the Dragon Dance. Anton drew a very lifelike dragon on a box to serve as the head of the dragon.

On Friday they had "Cleaning Day". The Values class topic of the month was "Clean and Tidy" and this was a good way to apply what they've learned. The students were divided into groups and went into the different neighborhoods where the students live and picked up all the plastic waste. The kids were so enthusiastic, especially the younger ones. Some of the neighbors or parents also started cleaning.

We thank the Lord for new bikes. We got 3 bikes donated to us from Christian Motorcycle Association in Australia. My good friends Wayne and Kay were here and they could report back to the guys down under and report that they saw the bikes and the ones that were replaced. Our old bikes are now officially on retirement. Looking forward to test them out in the jungle soon. Thanks once more CMA for your donation.

It is so nice to have Anton here as we can work and play together. This morning we went swimming while he swim the old people were walking in the pool, hahaha. Does my leg good as I really struggle to walk these days. After exercise in the pool it is much better. He also help me to make wheels for my toy cars as well as help mum to cook whenever needed. We enjoy ourselves with him in the house.

Thanks for always reading and praying with us.

Love

Rossouw-clan
