Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night Prayers 4 July 2022

Good evening dear family and friends

We are writing to you on Sunday as Mordegai is leaving for outreach tomorrow morning early. A team from Phnom Penh will join him. We ask for prayer for protection, wisdom and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

It was a week filled with sad news. We've been asking for prayer for Judy struggling with cancer. She passed away this week and left a legacy behind of serving the Lord faithfully for so many years. Please continue to pray for Scott and their children for comfort, strength and peace. We also received news of another old friend of ours from the Phillippines diagnosed with Lung Cancer stage 4.  We also ask that you would please pray for Twans' brother who is still struggling with serious health issues.

Twans shared how she showed a children's movie to her students last Thursday.  As the movie was in English the students did not understand all and would lose interest quickly, or be distracted easily. The younger ones could not sit still, one had to go to the bathroom, the other one had to drink water, etc. But the following happened in all 3 class groups. Ages 8-14. In one scene the mother kangaroo puts her baby kangaroo to sleep. It is quite boring, she sings and kisses him on his cheeks, with not much action but all the children were sitting very still, transfixed almost. Just realized again how important it is to show love to our students.

The uncle who had the stroke is in pain as his muscles are in spasm. The family is starting to open up to me and I could encourage them to help take care of him. The daughter now cleans the wound in the evenings and I clean it in the mornings and it looks a bit better. Please pray as we continue to build relationship with this family that we could share the gospel with them.  Pray for healing and restoration.

Twans was sharing in River of Life church in the village today. Praise God, there are not many members but they are very faithful in attendance.

Love and blessings
Rossouws
