Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 11 July 2022

Good evening from a cool Siem Reap. Rare but true, as we get lost in rain the temp is going down a lot, so we enjoy these cool days. It always makes a boy from the South’s heart happy to see rain.

I went with a good friend from the Patient Care Ministry in Phnom Pehn, to 2 of the places I love the most. Donnie is a good longtime friend and we did a few outreaches together I really like his small team and the way they do things. We started in Kabal Domrey with medical. A lot of people came to get some meds for all sorts of illnesses. There was even a Chiropractor as well, first, she had to fix me, and then she could attend to all the poor souls with all their painful bodies.

Our 2nd outreach was in Thor Piang Rosey. When we arrived there, they were busy with their church service. John is a very committed guy and he also asked if we can do another medical outreach in 2 places he planted churches. I could pull a few teeth and really had to dig deep as I did not do this in a very long time. It was so nice to be back in business. The team saw even more people as this village is bigger and everyone knows us. So nice to see familiar faces and people we helped over these years. I just love PCM and its efficient way of working. These outreaches are so laid back and it is easy to be with the people and really take time to listen to their stories and help them. The pastors could pray afterward and send them home with Jesus.

Off course Captain “G” was there with wooden cars for the kids. We could only give in one location but we will be back with more. Just love the kids playing around with their new toys and the smiles and laughter are soft on the ears. Kabal Domrey and Thor Piang Rosey were Gideon’s favorite places and that is why it was so special to give them some toys.

Pray for:

Von Van is the guy with a big bedsore. I talked to his daughter and encourage her to look good after her dad. I will clean it in the morning and she can do it at night. When I came back after 4 days, the wound looked so good. She is doing a great job looking after him. So nice if family cares for their own.

Cannot say the sane of Noah but she is doing great. The rain is really coming down and I am planning to make a more solid structure for her. Seems they are taking their time with the road.

Continue to pray for our dear friend in Davao who is struggling with stage 4 Ovarian cancer.

Uncle Niko is slowly but surely finishing his Radiation Therapy.

Thank you very much for praying with us. Please let us know how we can pray for you all.

Love

Rossouw-clan
