Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 9 May 2022

The biggest news here is that Anton started his Cambridge exams. Not much news but for us, it is a new milestone reached. We all went down to the city and settled in a day before the big test. We prayed for Anton before his first test and left him at Hope school. He says he is doing ok but you never know how well, teenagers?? I left Toinette and Anton in Phnom Pehn and am back in Siem Reap as yours truly cannot sit still in the city and lazy around because the red ants in my butt are biting hahaha. I will go back on the 17th again.

So being home means I am spending time with Noah and making some small wooden cars. I just send a load of them to a friend in Stung Treng that will give it to children in their area. Captain “G” toys are going around Cambodia now, slowly but surely. So I will start with the next batch soon. I am preparing to go to the jungle on Thursday this week with some good friends and help people with medicine again. Please pray for a safe journey and open hearts.

Leaving Noah alone for 4 days was not a good idea but I cannot do otherwise. My good friend Bear is trying his best to help her but even he says that the smell is intense. Opening her wound after 4 days was shocking and the maggots at least ate the wound clean, but it ate so much more than just the bad parts. This week I need to leave her again for 3 days, so I am not sure what will happen. Shame she is in real bad pain and every day is a struggle. Continue to pray for her.

Please pray for missionaries here in Cambodia. Seems to me there is a severe attack on some organizations as a few people I know, have been fired from their organizations lately. Talking to a good friend about being fired, opened a new can of worms. Their plans and vision for Cambodia are still strong but the NGOs do not think so. So who do we listen to, Christ or the NGO?? All we can do is encourage them to seek God in this situation and move on from there. Seems that the devil is trying his best to get rid of people who want to proclaim the Gospel here in the Kingdom.

Thank you once again. We love to hear from you.

Love
