Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 2 May 2022

Good evening from a rainy Phnom Pehn. We came from Siem Reap this morning and through some heavy rain that is really strange weather for this time of the year. Not that we complain as it cools down this piece of scorched land. Oh my, we forgot what the city is all about. We are completely the Farm mouse that visits the city mouse, do not know about traffic and all the people pressed into one small piece of land. I just came home after fetching the bike, which came by bus, as we came by van. Let me tell you, playing Russian roulette in this traffic with a small bike is like getting the biggest rush you can think of. Maybe I am totally insane but you can either love this or hate it, so I rather love it.

Please pray for Anton as he is a bit nervous being in the city and for the exam that is ahead of him. We will visit the school tomorrow so they can orientate him and on Wednesday morning he will write his first paper. Pray for Twans that needs to be with him all the time as I will be returning to Siem Reap on Thursday.

Please pray also for Akei as she is in Malaysia now sorting out some medical issues that are long overdue. We are staying in her little Chinees church in Phnom Pehn.

Please pray for Mary, one of the staff, who came along, and Angela that will bring her for an ear check-up. Pray that the doctors can help Mary as she struggles with hearing.

Noah is not doing so good. I had to leave her on her own these few days and can just hope that she at least clean the wound a little bit. Pray for her as the cancer is settling into her arm now and the open wound is very painful. Seems that the medication is not working very well.

Thank you very much for praying for us and we hope to hear from you soon. May the Lord bless you in this week to come.

Love

Rossouw-clan
