Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 29 July 2024

Good evening all

While I am writing it is raining so nicely outside. I love the rainy season here in Asia. I sent a video of rain to a friend back home and he was almost crying to see so much rain, can you imagine Namibia with so much rain, was the reply. Yes, well, no wonder this place is another sort of green by this time.

We are blessed by a long-time friend, Elsa from Davao who is visiting us. We have known her already from 1996 when we went to Davao, Philippines. With her, she brought 2 girls as well. It is so nice and refreshing to have Filipinos in our house. Lots of laughter and good fellowship all day long. Everything need to be eaten and experienced as these girls are very much mission minded. It does these old-timers heart’s good to be amongst such young energetic people.

We asked you guys to pray for Ovaltine as he was struggling with his health. He is with the Lord right now and he wished for a Christian funeral. It is not custom to put a body into the ground here in Cambodia, but being a Christian he got his wish. The AOG church here has a piece of land where Christians can be buried. I accompanied everyone to the site. Knowing that it will be hard thing to do but I wanted to be there for a good friend as well. It turned out way too much for me. I was reminded about Gideon way too much that I had to give my heart-wrenching brother Jun-Mar a hug and excused myself. Please pray for Jun-Mar and Indin as they were reminded today about their tragic event as well. Please pray for Ovaltine’s family and wife to come with the fact that he decided to be buried a Christian.

Please pray for our missionary friend Abraham Warren and his family as his mother passed away this morning. He is currently in SA and his family will join him soon. Please pray for finances to fly all of them home back to SA. I am sure they need a lot of encouragement this time around.

I see on the progress report from the Immigration of Malaysia that Anton’s visa is moving along slowly. Pray that his student visa will be approved soon.

Thank you very much for praying for us all.

Love

Rossouw-clan
