Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 15 July 2024

Good evening dear friend and family

Just realized tonight we are true Namibians, even after living in Asia for 29 years we still feel happy when it rains. The dirt roads in the village are getting muddier and slippier. According to Twans you "walk" a motorbike through mud, meaning both feet out on the sides balancing so the bike doesn't slide too easily. It is usually a good idea to take some deworming meds after the rainy season because of stepping in the mud so often.

Thank you for all your prayers for Ovaltine, Uncle Somaat, and Marie. On Friday morning the FGCCLC staff all went to Ovaltine's home to have communion with him and his family. He is not able to eat anymore and not lucid at times. A Khmer pastor and some of his cell group leaders joined.  Twans shared that it was a very special morning. "We all sat in a circle on a cement floor in an empty little house. Literally empty, with no chairs or tables just a bed and some blankets, BUT as Mon opened in prayer and we started worshipping the house was FULL, filled with the presence of God.  Even though Ovaltine was in so much pain, barely able to sit up, he lifted both his arms in full surrender and worshiped God during the worship time. Marie was able to join too and all could thank God that she looked so much better and prayed for her complete healing as well."

The High School students in the ACTS program came to visit our house on Saturday afternoon. They baked sugar cookies together with Teacher Toinette and Teacher Sang. Please pray for this group. As the teachers spend more time with them, they will see the Love of Christ in their teachers, be drawn to it, and come to know Jesus as well. Only 1 student in this group attends the Sunday Joshua Generation program. We continue to invite them to come to the program on Sundays. Please pray for a breakthrough and that they will come.

Anton's application was approved by the university in Malaysia. Now we have to apply for a study visa. Please pray for the whole process and all the finances involved.

May God Bless you all in this week to come.
