Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 1 July 2024

 Good evening you all

We were off to the jungle again and this time Jonan accompanied us. The road was shockingly easier as they put in a huge road halfway into the jungle. It goes through the worst part of the jungle so we made for good timing this trip.

People are happier this time due to the rain, the weather plays a crucial role in Cambodia. The farmers started to plant cassava and are pretty busy. Most of the men are out and about working the land. You hear the familiar sounds of the machines pumping water to look for gold. Now all the holes are full of water and everyone works hard.

We just get scolded because we were away for so long. They know we come more regularly but this time was quite a stretch. We need to make more time for these beautiful people. Please pray with us for a small type of school for the children. Before there was a school but due to corruption it stopped. Now we need to get the process started again. Things like this can be frustrating and take a lot of time and red tape. It is sad to see the young girls with babies, while they still are children. Education is not the number 1 priority in life as they need to work and earn a living. It is understandable. If you stay so far away from the local school, the children need a place to stay while attending school. It is not possible due to finances.

Pray for:

Marie is still in the hospital and still they do not know what is wrong with her. We can just speculate but in the meantime, we pray for a miracle.

Please pray for Ouma Paula as she is in pain. Pray that the pain will be manageable.

Ovaltine from ROL church is not doing well. It is a matter of time before he will be with the Lord.

Uncle Somaad (clean) is doing well and his wounds look great. The anti is taking good care of him.

We are holding onto this verse for now. Love to you all

So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 MSG
