Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 5 February 2024

Thank you for praying for our last outreach. We made it back in one piece, some better than others. It was hot and dusty and sandy but so many people came out to see us. Never before have we had so many people at our first stop. I soon ran out of medicines and sad to say the people at our last stop missed out. I will send them medicines via taxi. Din and Curtis were able to do a lot of evangelism and told the people about God. Din expresses his desire that he wants to do more in the jungle in the form of planting a small church. I for one am as happy about that as we have been praying already for this for many years. Please continue to pray for the people of the jungle to accept what we are planning.

We are also planning to provide some sort of support for my friend Panhar and his wife to start the little school again, near their home. His wife is very discouraged by the way that she is cheated from getting support from an NGO that started the school. We find 16-year-old girls that are pregnant and illiterate which makes this an easy decision. The children just need to read and write. So please pray with us for this little endeavor.

Please pray for my friend Greg who went with us on the trip. He is fighting a kidney stone that is stuck near his bladder. Pray that the stone will pass before he needs an operation here in Cambodia. That is a scary thought.

Toinette is still sick. Coughing badly and cannot sleep in the night. We are in communication with her cousin who is a doctor. Hopefully, we will be able to kick this thing.

Please pray for 2-year-old Sovann. Our friends Roger and Deb have been working with this family for a long now and their little daughter got sick. Her mum took her to a clinic and they gave her meds that made her violently ill and paralyzed. They rushed her to the city and now she is in the hospital in Siem Reap. She is doing much better but the doctors say that she will not be able to walk again. Nothing is impossible for our God. Going after the doctor is not an option here, pray for a solution and fairness to this family.

Met with an old friend Uncle Derrick. He is an old friend from the Philippines days. He came to visit here in Cambodia but his health took a turn for bad. He is now to get back home and needs to buy a new ticket. Pray for his health to be better for good.

This is quite a list of people to be prayed for. Thank you very much for doing this. Wish all of our Chinese friends a Happy Chinese New Year.

Love
