Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 12 February 2024

Good evening

Chinese New Year was here in all its splendor and glory. So many Khmer people are celebrating this event and for us, well it’s the 2nd New Year of the year and we are waiting for number 3 as the Khmer New Year is coming in April. Toinette was at home most of the week as she was coughing badly. After consulting with our Family doctor, Arnelle, we got her on the right meds and she is doing much better right now. Anton was down as well and I had 2 sick people to take care of. I will take my big bike for a run tomorrow and visit close by to the jungle and leave some meds for them as they sometimes go into town and then they can collect it. Please pray for a safe trip as I did not ride this beast for a while.

Thank you so much for praying with us for the teenagers from Twans ’classes to join the Joshua Generation program on Sundays. 3 of them are joining faithfully now and even staying back to join the church service later in the afternoon. It is such a blessing to hear the staff give testimony of how much these students have changed since coming to know Jesus. Isabel was a very shy unhappy student before. She never joined with the other students and Twans used to say her smile was very expensive because you never saw her smile. Now she smiles, greets everyone, and is just FREE! Her mother even joined the adult service as well. Praise God. Another student, Kemara, testified in church how much Jesus has changed and helped her. How she does so much better in school now as well. Please continue to pray that even more students will join on Sunday. Also, pray for all the staff from FGC Community Link who so faithfully go and serve every Sunday.

Twans and SreyLen shared about High Blood Pressure this morning during the Health Talk in the PumAng village. 4 women came and we could share and visit with them under the shade. We thank God for another opportunity to build a relationship with these precious ladies. The one auntie, 88 years old and still very strong, said she is so healthy because she doesn’t eat any vegetables. Vegetables give her acid! Well, there you have it.

Please pray for:

Greg is not out of the woods yet. The kidney stone is still sitting and they canceled their flights to recuperate first before taking a long flight. Pray for relief of this stone.

Love you all

Rossouw-clan
