Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night Prayers 19 Feb.2024

Good evening all you beautiful people

We are greeting you from a very warm Cambodia. We know it is heating when the sweat drips from our elbows when we lift our arms. I went back to the province last week to take some meds to the groups that did not get with the previous outreach. I am thankful to our God for a safe journey on the big bike. It struggled to kick start most of the time but I made it home the next day.

Twans shared that one of her previous students passed away last week. She had dengue and received a blood transfusion but the blood was not clean. So sad, she was 17 years old. Please pray for Veasna’s mom. She is not a believer. She took out a big loan to pay for her daughter’s medical treatment and build a better house. Now she is bankrupt with a big loan. Please pray as Twans and the staff reach out to her that she would be open to receiving Jesus and be welcomed into the church family.

This weekend we had some good fellowship with our Phnom Pehn family. It is always emotional to go to Phnom Penh and think of our Gideon, but also receive so much love and care from our friends. Two 8-hour bus rides in 3 days but we are not complaining. The bus was slow. Twans lost it a bit when she saw an electrical bike passing the bus  Anton could visit with his old friends from school and Mum and Dad could enjoy the air-conditioning, hahaha. Please continue to pray for Greg. His kidney stone passed but he still got another one in his other kidney. They are on their way home this week.

We also ask your prayers for Angela. She will go in for surgery in Malaysia tomorrow. Please pray for safety and that all will go well.

Talked about Psalm 37 tight in Bible study. The reminder that anger only leads to evildoing, for us not to fret, to Trust, To Commit our way to the Lord, To Delight, Rest, and Wait patiently for the Lord and HE will do it.

Love to all of you
