Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 29 January 2024

Good evening all

I just came back last night from Phnom Pehn to go again tomorrow to the jungle. I joined my friends on an outreach to the South border with Vietnam. They started by having a small pastors conference. It was so refreshing to see the pastors so joyful listening and taking notes. Curtis is spending a lot of time and lots of years now with these guys and he knows them well. There is real trust between them all. This outreach goes back to 2008-2009. We also shared some medicines to the woman and pastors. All of them love to see their blood pressure and want to know if they are ok or not. These older people are pretty healthy as they live off the land and do not eat all the processed foods from outside, so their health is pretty good. Of course the highlight is always lunchtime. Ti and I ate our fill on all the yummy foods from the farm. Yummy frogs, fish and chicken. I love the simple cooking of the Khmer people as they can make delicious food with nothing.

Please pray with us for tomorrow as we will travel down to the province. Pray for travel mercies as Anton and I will take the truck down while the others bike up from Phnom Pehn. We meet halfway and work our way into the jungle. Pray for people’s hearts to be open and receiving the wonderful love of God.

We've been asking you to pray for Twan's teenage students to join the Joshua Generation Children ministry on Sunday. 3 of them are now joining. Praise God. Please pray that the others will follow.

We asked for prayers for Elna and uncle Nico. On the 26th anti Elna got operated on and she is doing very well. Please pray for complete healing and that she can have her mobility back.

Toinette was really sick this whole week and stayed most of the time in bed. The coughing is better but she is not out of the woods yet. Seems this thing takes time. She is on antibiotics but is still very tired. She is planning to go back to work tomorrow so please keep her in your prayers.

Thank you very much for praying for us all

Love

Rossouw-clan
