Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 22 January 2024

Good evening all you beautiful people

This year is getting in gear with me taking a trip with my friend Samai to visit some Tribal churches up north. It was nice to see the familiar faces of all the old people in the one village. Samai shared with me that this tribal pastor was asking for help and he helped them with 60 chairs and he said that it is too few. Everybody in the village is attending this little fellowship. Visiting another village near the Twin Lakes was a special one. About 3 years back we met this young boy who could not walk due to disabilities. We bought a wheelchair and Samai brought it to him. This time he was walking and greeting us, praise God for this young man who was walking for the first time in his life. What a blessing to help people in such a small way.

This week I will travel down to Phnom Pehn and join my friends for an outreach on the border of Vietnam in the South. I will come back just to go to the jungle again with the same guys, so a lot of traveling. Please pray for travel mercies. Pray for open hearts to receive the gift of the Lord as we will minister to a lot of people.

Twans together with the River Of Life team did a Health Talk with some mothers in PumAng village. ROL is reaching out to this very poor community staying on the river bank of the TonleSap Lake. After the Health Talk, we visited a lady who shared with us how faithful God was to her. She said before the Khmer Rouge regime came a lot of people came to share with the Cambodians about Jesus. She remembers hearing about Jesus when she was small. Then Khmer Rouge came and for many years she never heard about Jesus. She was so happy when the foreigners came again and told her about Jesus again. The ROL team goes to her house every week to have a cell group with her. We were so encouraged to hear this.

Please pray for Toinette and Anton. They really got a bad cough. Toinette seems ok till she coughs and that alone sounds like a dog on steroids. So they are on antibiotics. Please pray that they will get better soon. Anton will join me on the trip to the jungle so he still has a few days to get healed.

We pray that the farmers will get good rain in Namibia that need it so badly.

Love you all

Rossouw-clan
