Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 9 October 2023

Good Evening dear friends and family

With all that is going on in the world now, we are humbled and so thankful to greet you tonight with full bellies, a roof over our heads, and peace in and around us.

Twans was sharing the book of Lamentations yesterday at the River of Life church in the village. We read how the author describes the horrible state the city of Jerusalem and its people were in ( "for my people sinned greatly Lam1:8 -9 ). And then when you feel there is no hope you read the following verses: "This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. The Lord's loving-kindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail." Lam 3:21 -22)

Praise God for all the children who attend the Mighty Kids program every Sunday morning. Please pray especially for the Secondary students who come to class during the week, to also join on Sunday mornings. Twans is asking for specific prayer for 2 boys in her secondary class who are struggling with homosexual issues. She shares how she sees them drifting further away emotionally and also in their schoolwork.

It is Pchum Bun at the end of this week. This is a time when the people bring offerings to the deceased relatives and the Hungry Spirits at the temples.  We ask for prayer for protection for all the Christian staff going home to spend time with their families. This is a spiritual dark time and we pray that the Christian Khmers will share their testimonies with the families and reach out to them. :””For 15 days a year, the gates of hell open and seven generations of tortured souls roam the land in search of food. Welcome to the Pchum Ben Festival in Cambodia.”” Read more about it https://www.travelbeginsat40.com/event/pchum-ben-festival-in-cambodia/

Thank you so much for your faithful support in prayer.
