Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 2 October 2023

Such a great day while waking up with the sound of rain. Just cannot get enough of it, wish I could send a bit of rain down South. I know too much rain is deadly to many people but lots of people need it so desperately.

Some friends of Curtis came to visit so we went bush again. This time poor Anton had to do school and he was not so lucky, always good to be in the mud. The jungle did not disappoint this time again. Mud, mud, and more mud. We pushed our bikes and towed some others, but we made good time to reach all the little places we normally do. Needless to say this time of year is a difficult one for people in the jungle. Lots of children are ill due to all the rain. Work needs to be done even when it rains. Our friend Din could join us and it was great seeing him and sharing the love of the Lord with the people. `

We are so blessed with good friends coming alongside us and encouraging us. We had a lot of people visiting and it's great talking to people that are like-minded. The struggles are the same but we can encourage each other through our own way of dealing with it. Of course that happens over a great BRAAI with lots of meat.

Toinette is enjoying the small kids in the village. There is a playground now that makes for lots of playtime. Every day she comes home and tells me stories about the newest thing the children do on all the swings and seesaw and other stuff around. It I the first time for many of them to play on something like a swing or a seesaw, so they loved it. Anything to make the children more happy and share the Love of the Lord.

Thank you for praying for Heang’s dad. He is back home and doing well. Pray that his leg will heal properly this time and that he will have no more pain.

Our nightly read is Eternity in their hearts- Don Richardson. It is such an eye-opener to see how God planted a seed long ago into the very fiber of some people groups. They mostly forget about it but when they get confronted with it, stories come out that are similar to the Bible and that makes it possible for them to relate so much easier to the Word of God. If you want to read a fascinating book, this is the one to read.

Love you all
