Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 10 April 2023

Good evening

It is Khmer New Year this week and the celebrations are picking up speed. As you all know here a party is done under a big open tent or tarp with the speakers blasting  on full volume. The speakers are also facing outward just in case somebody in the neighborhood was a bit hard of hearing.  😶

John and his son Luca (from our Khmer family in Kampong Tom) stayed over 1 night and it was a blessing to visit with him, seeing how excited he is when showing the pictures of his dad's church service and those who attended out in the jungle. John and I have worked together now for 13 years. When we first arrived in Cambodia 15 years ago we asked God to send us key people whom we can build relationship with and grow together and John is one of them. Please pray for him and his family that they would continue to seek God first and be an example to other Cambodian families.

Please pray for wisdom and guidance as Mordegai will go and visit a young man, Heang, tomorrow. Heang is very sick, he has sepsis and his organs are shutting down. They will transfer him to the regional hospital tomorrow. Him and his family are not believers.

We also ask prayer for the group of teens from the Mighty Kids program on Sundays. They are called the Joshua Generation. Some of them have stopped coming. Please pray for protection, that the seeds been sown would not be "picked up by the birds" and that they would return and learn more about Jesus.

On the home front: Twans was very sick for a few days with bad cough and cold. She is on the mend. Anton is working hard preparing for the upcoming exams. Please continue to pray for him.

Love
Rossouw-clan
