Good evening dear friends and family
We were encouraged yesterday to follow Jesus' example to stay obedient, and determined, even to the cross. Yes, we will go through hardship and pain but we need to look beyond the coss, to keep our eyes on our Lord, not the "waves' around and under us. " But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." 2 Cor 12: 9-10
Twans returned safely. We are so thankful that she could be with her mom and family this past month. Ouma Paula is doing a bit better. She is still in a lot of pain but is now at least manageable with pain medication. Please continue to pray for her. For peace, less pain, and healing, her spine will not break as the cancer is in her spine as well. She continues to testify of the goodness of God.
Twans will start working again this week and looking forward to greeting her students and their families. Fewer children are coming to the children's ministry on Sundays. Please pray for those who have stopped coming to return and for those who still come to grow in their knowledge and love for Jesus.
I bought another secondhand bike and am busy fixing it. Once restored I give it to the pastors in the province. This helps them a lot to reach out to further villages and eventually start small cell groups. Just need lots of patience, knowledge, and a bit more help from my not-so-helpful mechanic in the restoration phase.
Please continue to pray for Anton's studies. He is preparing now for his AS level exams starting 23 April. Twans and he will go down to Phnom Penh again for the exams.
Over this time I've met up with quite a few younger missionary men who needed to share. Please pray for me for wisdom and guidance as I try to encourage and be there for them.
Love
Rossouw-clan
