Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 14 November 2022

 Good evening everyone

We are very happy campers with Quinton, Toinette’s youngest brother here with us. He came in 2 days ago and will stay 3 weeks with us. We already had such good conversations with someone that pray so much for us and that is dear to us. It is wonderful to have an outside perspective on things , for a change. We are planning a few things for him but mainly we will be home and visit.

Please pray for our outreach this weekend with our good friend Samai. He is planning a trip for us to a small tribal church near the Vietnam border. Anton is coming with us and that will be a welcome break for him from schoolwork. Pray for the people that we will help and pray that we can help the tribal people without any disturbance. We will leave on Friday and will be back on Sunday.

Visiting Toinette today in the village where she and Sang were busy giving a class to the small ones, just blessed our hearts. The kids are so cute and they are so willing to learn. Continue to pray for the team of FGC Community Link as they spent many hours teaching the children.

Please continue to pray for Brandon, my friend Byron’s son. Here is some news from them.

Brandon has been very dedicated to his daily devotions and through the Bible in a year plan. Your prayers and support have meant a lot to him. We are using the funds to cover deductibles and to do 21 treatments designed to super pump up the immune system and cleanse toxins while waiting for chemotherapy and radiation to start. He saw the neuro-oncologist November 3rd and the Radiologist will be November 8th. Please continue the prayers and support, he is very grateful for this opportunity at a new life.

Please continue to pray for Susan as she struggles with cancer. Here is some news :

Hi mordegai... She is getting better. She is finished with her chemo and had her tumor marker (labs) done. PTL!  Her CA-125 which was the basis of the 4th stage diagnosis is now at wnl.  Previously it was 1000 but now it is 7.200 (baseline is 0-35).  She is scheduled for CT scan for the Whole Abdomen and the Whole Chest but unfortunately- the machine broke so needs to wait for rescheduling when the machine gets fixed. PTL!

Right now, we are preparing for a Midwives Forum at Tagum City - she is the Regional President of the midwives' organization. She is still not cleared for work - her dr won't give her the clearance until she gets the CT scan result.

Thank you for praying for us. We are so blessed to get so many friends and family praying for us.

Love

Rossouw-clan
