Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 31 October 2022

The big news in Cambodia is that the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summit will begin on Thursday, November 10, 2022, and ends on Sunday, November 13. Phnom Pehn is gearing up for this big event and even President Biden will be here. So Cambodia will be in the limelight. Pray for peace and order and a successful summit.

The ASEAN Summit is a biannual meeting held by the members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in relation to economic, political, security, and socio-cultural development of Southeast Asian countries. In addition, it serves as a prominent regional (Asia) and international (worldwide) conference, with world leaders attending its related summits and meetings to discuss various problems and global issues, strengthening co-operation, and making decisions. The summit has been praised by world leaders for its success and ability to produce results on a global level.

Another big event this last week was that 3 of the former ACTS students of FGC Community Link, graduated from University. We had a small but very nice celebration for them and it is so encouraging to see how these young people getting equipped for the future. They are working hard every day and still study in order to help the young people of Cambodia. Congratulations to Sang, Ousa, and Marie on their great accomplishments in life. All 3 of them came to know and love Jesus and serve Him.

I visited Von the other day and found a man that is happy with life and free of any wounds. His children and grandchildren are looking at him so well that he is doing great. So nice to see that family is still strong in this family where everyday life shows differently. He is still paralyzed but a happy man.

Cannot say the same o poor Noah as she is still battling her existence. Her wound is getting bigger and bigger and today it took me about 2 hours to barely clean it. The pain is really bad now even with meds. Pray that the Lord will be merciful and grant her free pain.

The rain stopped now but lots of people are sick. Everywhere you hear of sick people.

Thanks for all your continuous prayers. May God bless you all in these days to come.

Love

Rossouw-clan
