Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 7 March 2022

Good Evening

Our  "most used word during the day and night" for this past week was "Sjooooo !!!"  Twans have been wiping her face so much from all the sweating that her skin is rubbing off on her forehead. We are thankful for our cold showers in the evening. 😅 ( I installed a small fan on the roof in the shower, so while taking a bath the fan is cooling you off as well)

We are still running back and forth with our visas. We need many more papers as we are from an African country. South Africa does not have this problem but all the other African countries need to hand in a lot more paperwork and of course more money and less time. Please pray that they would approve our visas.

Anton would be able to write the IGCSE exams in May, we need to just pay a bit extra, so we thank you for your prayers for this. His teachers met with him and they are drawing up a plan to prepare him for this.

Twans is in the village every day. The students need a lot of prompting and repetition, especially after the long absence from school during Covid. During home, visitation parents express their gratitude for helping to teach their children. School schedules change a lot and are still not full-time.

Please pray for dear Noah. She is not doing well. She has a lot of pain. This morning she did not want me to clean the wound. I am going on outreach for 3 days. A friend of mine will go and visit her while I am gone. Please pray for her, her understanding of who Jesus is, her healing.

Please pray for our good friends Nick and Elaine Haydon who lost their oldest son this last week. Please pray for comfort in a very difficult time.

Please pray for Inis as she will try again, the 3rd time, to get a negative test in order to return to Cambodia. She is currently in Cape Town and works here in Siem Reap.

I am going on outreach to Kampong Tom tomorrow with 2 friends from Phnom Penh. I am a bit nervous, it has been so long since we've been able to go out. Please pray for protection on the road, for wisdom and guidance, for protection and healing for each and everyone who comes to ask for some meds. Also pray for our fellowship with the families we stay with, that we would be able to minister to them as well.

Love to you all

Rossouw-clan
