Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 19 October 2020

Good evening from a very wet Cambodia. Yes as some of you may know, most of Cambodia is underwater at this time. All around us and especially in the province the people are suffering due to flooding. Some dams already gave way to much water and more is to come, they say. Due to dams being opened across the border with Thailand and Vietnam, lots of flooding is expected. Farmers are always the ones hardest hit by this calamity. Rice crops are devastated due to young rice drowning in the water. In Phnom Pehn the city garbage disposal contractors were on strike and that led to a severe waste of garbage across the city as well as lots of flooding. Thank God the people already started to clean up the garbage. We expect a lot of more waterborne diseases to follow due to this wet season. Please pray with us that there will not be more lives lost due to this.

It is so strange for me as a Namibian where we barely get rain, to see so much water. All these years in Asia and still not use to all this water. So sad to that here we are flooding and in Namibia, there is a drought and now lots of wildfires as well. As if 2020 was not hard enough?? Please pray for our farmers here and there to have some kind of relief.

Seems that our immune systems are not as good as it is supposed to be. Gideon and Mordegai got a very bad flu, no Covid symptoms, thank you. It is a long time since I got this so bad. I do not feel ill but when I cough my lungs complain. Gideon is the same and we both are on antibiotics again. Had to cancel an outreach not to infect other people outside. Pray for us as a family to get healed. Toinette and Anton are still well, but not sure for how long. Around us lots of people are ill.

Can you please pray for Tara Ferguson, her son is still missing and they are desperately trying to find him? “”Alex is still missing. It is assumed he is in California. Please pass this flyer along to your friends and family. You can make a copy of the flyer and then post on your newsfeed.  His parents are to find their son. Any help you can offer is deeply appreciated.  Thank you💕””

Thank you for praying for us. May this week be a blessed week for you wherever you are?

Love

Rossouw-clan
