Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 24 Feb.2020

Recently I am confronted with the everlasting long troubles in ministry that we so often get, I was confronted to the point where I was having thoughts of giving up. But we must persevere, pray and do what we can. This week I and my contacts in the village will go to the department of Health with some documents to try and get permission again and somehow try and partner with the government. Please pray for favor, the right people to talk to that we can get permission papers.

So talking to my wife, she always has the Wisdom of Solomon when it comes to these things. She reminds me that I need to stop saying that I am not doing enough. If God’s plan for me is to go to Apo every day and dress his wounds then it is what He wants from me and I need to follow. Because Jesus says when we see someone in need and help them it is as if we are doing it for Him. True but I always feel that we can do more than that. If that is God’s plan for us, let it be. So in this “” off-time”” I am going to Apo every day and clean his wounds and even get time to take a nap while I am waiting for the Ozone machine to do its magic. See, I even get to take my Siesta while “” working”” hahaha.

It is also a blessing to be at home to help Toinette with Gideon. It is becoming more difficult to teach him due to the fact that he wants to be left alone and then he does not do his work and that the work is getting more difficult by the day and he struggles with it. Please pray for him, as he struggles with a lot of frustration. We praise God that we could bring both Anton and Gideon and a friend Jerry to a Youth group at the River Church. They enjoyed it and we hope they will have this again.
Twans and the FGC team are still faithfully reaching out to the students and families in Kouk Resay village. She shared about the wise and the foolish man in the River of Life church yesterday. There is about 21 faithful members. The children’s ministry in the morning still continues. Some of the younger ones are not coming anymore as their parents don’t want them to come anymore. We pray for them as the seeds of the gospel were planted, that it will grow.
Our New Zealand visas is a bit of a mess as they send it to Beijing in China and the office there is closed due to the virus. They say that they do not know when it will open again so it can take forever. Well God’s timing is perfect and we just need to wait.

We are excited to let you know that Curtis and Brea’s baby girl was born on February 18. “”We want to introduce the newest member of our wonderful family... Harlow Grace Johnson, welcome to this world. “I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.” Thank you, Lord for this precious gift of life. We cannot even begin to fathom how blessed we are.””

Please pray for Abraham and Chantel Warren that currently is in SA. “”Good morning/afternoon. Chantal just completed an intense 3 day, 12 hours daily conference. Today we heading off for Kwazulu-Natal for possible 2 weeks stay. Thereafter the Cape. Basically it 2 weeks here, 3 weeks there, staying from house to house in various cities, towns, and provinces until June. We really need God’s wisdom and guidance in this trips and planning. Folks want us to visit them and spend quality time and we need to plan and make right decision over this period. Probably our home-schooling will be affected by this. A bit overload and sometimes draining on the children. We need your prayers in all of this. Much appreciated, Warrens””
Thank you for praying for us. May God grant you’re wished for this week?
Love
Rossouw-clan
