Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 6 Jan.2020

A very belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all. Phewww what a hustle and buzzle this was of a time. Christmas parties and staff parties and lots to eat, yummy, need to think ahead of the year to reduce, not so sure that will happen but need to try. We had a wonderfully exciting time with Lida Marie here with us. She just left last night and is almost home right now. Great to have a family for Christmas in a place where Christmas is not big on the agenda.

Just before Christmas, Lida, Manoj, and Scott came with Heang and I to visit the people around Phnom Chi. Lida was a real champ with Heang on the bike. We had great fellowship this time with the people where we stopped for meds. We are working on a plan to go in and spend a few days exploring the mountain with our friends. So much for us to learn from the local people.

We made it back in good timing for Heang to go home still as his wife was highly pregnant. That night they went to the hospital in Kampong Tmau and the next day a healthy little girl was born. Her name is Dol Marrychanvaty. God is good to His servants. Poor Heang was a bit tired when we greeted him in the hospital.

I am looking forward to the New Year exploring even more places around the mountain. I want to visit again Relose that I visited many years back. There are 30 families staying and digging for gold. Pray with us for open hearts and minds in these areas. Another dream of mine for this year is to help Samai in Ratanakiri. He uses all his time to visit local tribal churches and encourage pastors to continue their work with a new zeal. Together we can help more people in the remote areas.

Please pray for poor Apo. Recently his bedsores became bad again and I am helping him daily to get this one deep hole on his hip, to get better. Pray with us that he will get healed from this one. I was just amazed at his mom and dad again, seeing how good they care for their son. Pray for encouragement for them as well. I am using the Ozone machine and it seems to help but time will tell.

We are applying for visas for New Zealand. Yes, our friends will sponsor us to visit them and this is a huge undertaking. All Gideon can talk about is fishing and hunting he will do there. So please pray for us that we will get visas in order to go. We are planning to go in April.
School starts in 2 days, Hallelujah hahaha. Pray for Anton and Gideon to study hard. Schooling is real hard for Gideon but Toinette is trying her best for him to do school. The boys are growing fast and seem like yesterday when they were still small. Where has time gone by??

Ok, I leave you here. Thank you for continuing to pray for us.
Love
Rossouw-clan
