Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 02 September 2019

We are celebrating today our 25th anniversary. Never would have thought in my life that we will have so much adventure together in such a short time. The Lord really provided all this time for us and we cannot thank Him enough for all His has done.

Heang and I took the bikes around the mountain this time in order to see how many people live in the jungle on that side. We have been told that there were a lot of people there. We found a lot of house but not many people; due to the fact that people hide when they hear motorbikes coming as they are afraid of the police……we need to think of a way to contact them in the future if we want to help them.
We went into beautiful areas that have been cut clear to dense forest that we had to crawl into. It was just beautiful to see but sad at the same time that we know it will not be there for long anymore. We made it to Rum Jopon and everybody was glad to see us again. So many people are living in the jungle now as it is rainy season and they can farm. Heang took the opportunity to give some guys some of the Solar Bibles as they were eager to listen to it. We praise God that we can help people not just physical but also spiritual as well. Dengue fever and malaria are some of the main concerns for these people.

Pray for Heang as he started to teach English as well as Khmer to children in his village and around. Currently he has about 30 students. I helped him with some chairs and tables and he do it under his house as well as a small workshop about 6km away from his home. I think it’s something positive for the children to learn English as they can use it while going to school. Pray for this family as they really seek how to help their own people.

Please pray for the following people:
Deon is not doing well and every day is a struggle now for him. We pray that the Lord will help his family as they need to deal with his condition.
Continue to pray for Jean and Annerina as they seek the doctor’s help for treatment.
Seems that Quinton and Andrea is doing better, but continue to lift them up for healing.

Pray for FGC Cambodia as they struggle with some of the boys leaving. Pray for the University boys as they go through a time of rebellion. We cannot keep them save forever and they need to find themselves in society and we know it’s important for them but its hard to see them go. We pray that God will fill their paths with good friends that can influence them as they are standing on their own as Christians in a world that is totally against it.

We leave you with this:
“The truth is, we don’t have the privilege of defining ourselves, and there are limits to how far we can reinvent ourselves. Why? The reason is simple: we’ve already been defined by God, our Creator. God knows who he made each of us to be, and in the end his design is always better than what we come up with on our own”. Please keep in contact with us and tell us about things happening in your neck of the woods.
Love

Ps. Wish I could send some of this rain over to Namibia!!!
