Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 21 January 2019

Monday’s seems to me a day of things happening. So many sick people that need some prayer. We said goodbye to our beloved Katy and her friend. They are currently over an ocean going home to New Zealand. We had a great time visiting with them and caught up on lots of news. We are looking forward now to an old friend from India that will visit us shortly. Yip that is part of being here, doing God’s work, and have visitors sharing this lovely work with, why keep it to ourselves.
Please pray for us as we will be on our bikes again going to serve people with much needed meds in the remote areas. Curtis and Yong will ride with me. My good friend Manoj contacted a friend in the jungle and he asks that we need to bring specific meds for some people. Great that we can now communicate with them.

Please pray for my good friend You Charia who is currently in hospital. They are the people that we worked with when we came in Cambodia a long time ago.
Appreciate your prayer. Kidney stone and it causes bad infection on my right bladder all the way down. Still have pain on the right side but feel release to know what is wrong.God the champion from the ultrasound doctor for my strength and ability to handle the pain for these 4 days. God is my strength.

Please pray with us for this missionary from the Philippines, currently here in Siem Reap.
POST FROM Pastor Perlitoandrose Gatmen
Friends and Family. This is Ms. Divine (Didi) Dacanay. She came to Cambodia with the heart of starting a center to cater Cambodian's who need services especially in Poipet. She is also joining our International Church and became our family. During her stay, her health seems not well. And last Sunday, we need to bring her to the hospital and on the process we found that she is infected with meningitis encephalitis but can't tell of what kind. We thought she is getting better but as of today she started to have abnormal breathing and getting to different direction. After many consideration, we then decided to urgently bring her to siemreap referal hospital (2 hours from Poipet) for further laboratory. Honestly, she is now in very critical condition.
As a family in Christ, please take your time to pray for her healing. We are giving everything in the hands of God. We can't bring her back to Philippines as of now unless the embassy will help. We will also appreciate any words of encouragement and also finances. Pray also for strenght to our brothers and sisters who volunteer to take care of her while in this difficult situation. Pray for brother Perlito's wisdom as he is working on logistics and also protection to all their travels. Thank you so much for your endless supports. From Gatmen Family and Bridge of Hope Christian Fellowship International Poipet City.

Deon Botha just woke up from his operation as they had to put in a stent. Sonja is saying that he looks good. His stent need to be in till 18 February. They also took a biopsy of the operated area to make sure everything is well. Praise God for moving forward with solving his problems.

Please pray for Ds. Thijs vd Merwe, our pastor from Namibia. He will have a left knee replacement tomorrow the 22nd in Cape Town. Pray that everything will be according to His will.

My friend James from up North send me a tribal couple with their small boy, named Ta, who has a hernia. I picked them up and they are now in the hospital trying to sort this out. Pray for this tribal people, as everything in the city is new and they are scared for all of this. I will see them again in the morning.

Please continue to pray for our visa situation. We only have now 3 months left before it expires due to our Mission of Understanding with the Dept. of Education. Angela will give in the papers but it takes a while to process and in the meantime we need visas. Pray for a solution to this. I am currently working on something but too early to tell. Keep you informed. This is just one of those obstacles that we need to cross again.

Love writing to you guys and informs you about our doings here and especially to pray for our friends as well. God keep us together through prayer.
Love
Rossouw-clan
