Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 28 January 2019

Told you last week that this year will be a year of making new friends. Well last week, brand new friends came into our lives and believe me, this guy means business. From the get go we were in the truck and we went to Kampong tom for an outreach. Holger and his sister-in-law, Nastia are from Germany. More our kinda people. Together with Yong and Curtis we stopped and served the people in Thor Piang Rosey first with medicine and then went on to Kabal Domrey.

The next day was all fun and games with the odd fall down in the sand, till we reached Rum Jopon, deep in the jungle. All the people knew that we were coming and so many came for meds. The anti with the snake bite finger was so happy to show me her finger. I was wondering if I need to cut the finger off as the bone was exposed, but it totally grown over. Praise God.

Once again I was humbled by the unique way Curtis was sharing the Gospel to some people. It is wonderful to see the excitement in him telling people about Christ. Off course he brought some Solar Bibles for the people. We discussed how we can come and show them the Jesus movie and share more with them. This was not the end. We went to see the temple and Curtis started to talk to the monk that oversees the temple. After he challenged the guy, he asked for a Bible and out came the Solar Bible again. Now I cannot wait to go back and hear what he has to say about God’s word.

On our way back we stopped in Thor Piang Rosey again and helped Din that was in a bad accident. His finger was ripped open and the local doctor stitched it together very roughly but at least it is not bleeding anymore. After cleaning and good meds we were on our way again. Please pray for Din as he needs his hands to work on the farm.

Please continue to pray for Ms. Divine (Didi) Dacanay. She is still in Phnom Pehn in the hospital with Meningitis. She is stable but still critical. They are trying and working with the Philippine Embassy to evacuate her back to the Philippines. Pray that it will happen.

Praise God that Buntong is back home in Siem Reap, although he is better, there is still a long way for him to go. Pray for his complete healing.

Our friend Deon Botha is doing much better and his eating improved quite a lot. Praise God that he can move on to be healthier now.

Our dear friend Julie is asking for prayer as she is sick with Sinusitis.

Praise God that Charia is doing much better this week. Thanks for your prayers.

Please pray for Toinette and Petra that will go to Stung Treng on Thursday. They will go to Asian Outreach Cambodia to do a full day seminar on First Aid and then teach some teachers on Special Needs and then they have a special night on Saturday evening to meet some parents with special needs children. Pray for people to respond and to come and listen as this is something so needed even in the local communities. This will be a great time for sharing and we ask for prayer for this event. Thank you for Emily at AOC that makes this all possible.

We pray that you will have a glorious week ahead of you. May God be the center of everything you do.
