Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 24 July 2018

The Rossouws are still enjoying themselves here in cool Namibia. We went to Etosha National Park, our national park, up North and did some camping. Every day went into the park and could see some of animals. It was once again so wonderful to see the beauty of God’s creation in a few days. It was a real good family time for us and the boys. Seeing a Rhino and lions stalking animals is really a rare privilege.

For us Namibians, nature is part of our culture. Dune surfing is an activity that the boys really love. Climbing the dune is hard work and coming down is fast. Going into the moon valley is also a beauty that will stay with us for the rest of the year. We took a trip down there on ouma’s birthday.

Mordegai’s mum gave us a bit of a scare as she ended up in hospital with a clot in the lungs and serious lung infection. I went down to the capital and stayed with my brother and sister and visited ouma in the hospital. Currently she is doing much better, Praise God.
Toinette’s brother Quinton is still on the mend from his operation. Pray that his cancer will be contained.

My friend Deon is busy with week 3 and his 3rd chemo and 11th radiation treatment. Pray for him as he continues on his journey.

Please pray for a dear friend. Not sure if you remember McKenzie. Please pray for her. This an update from her dad Mike Capka
Today McKenzie suffered another serious seizure and is in ICU. Please say a prayer for my daughter - hoping she wakes up soon and no permanent damage. Appreciating all you prayer warriors out there...
McKenzie Capka update: Thank you all for your love, care, concern and prayers. Your support for our family has been so special. McKenzie is doing much better  She is still in the hospital and slowly coming out of her seizure “funk”... memory issues and confusion, but she is out of ICU and hopefully can come home in the next day or so. As she heals physically our prayer is she won’t become discouraged by this latest challenge. Your friendship and kind words have been the best medicine for all of us during this time. Thank you again! Here’s a pic of Kenzie and Jake from last week at the ballgame... God bless!

Please pray for the elections on the 29th July in Cambodia. Pray that God’s will be done.

Thank you very much for praying for us.

Love
Rossouw-clan
