Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 19 March 2018

Well a huge praise report is that Toinette is doing much better. At least she is up and moving again. Even ready to teach again, wow. I am glad as I was worried that I need to cook forever!!! Being the house-band while your helper is sick as well, is no job for sissies. Just got more appreciation and love for my beautiful wife. The boys were happy that mum started to make food again. Dad only has a limited recipe menu, soup and soup with rice……. Well do not worry the Rossouws did not lost even a fraction of a pound, think we gained cause the rice pot was cooking overtime, hahahaha God is really blessing us to be a blessing to others. Seems to me after all these years we are shifting into the direction to be there for other people that have it hard on the field, always to be ready with encouragement and help. I love this role and know that God gives us grace to help not only missionaries but also the local people.

It is also a huge blessing to have my brother Sonny and his wife here, from Malaysia. We are truly brothers in Christ. We know each other so many years and still share the same mindset. Love hanging out with him especially over a cup of good coffee.  It is true what God says that we will get new homes and new families when we leave our families and homes to go and serve Him. We are living proof of that promise.

Talked to Fe and she gave me some prayers for them.
I really appreciate your prayers for us.
- Noel and I are traveling to Manila for my next chemo on Thu March 22.
- pls pray that i will have available medicines  and i will be physically ready
- I am praying for our financial needs since this April my Radiation will start. Our whole family has to be in Manila because
my radiation will be everyday except weekends for 25 days.
- we are praying for God"s wisdom on how we could raise our support.

Please pray for travel mercies while I will travel to Ratanakiri and to Kampong Tom this week. Three days of constant driving in order to bring my goats to a friend in Thor Piang Rosey. While there I will just do a medical outreach as well. Trying my hand in farming and need to learn from the Khmer guys how to do it.

Made me think.. “He asked for strength that he might do greater things, but he was given infirmity that he might do better things. He asked for riches that he might be happy; he was given poverty that he might be wise. He asked for power that he might have the praise of men; he was given weakness that he might feel the need of God. He asked for all things that he might enjoy life; he was given life that he might enjoy all things. He received nothing that he had asked for, yet all that he had hoped for. . . . His prayer is answered; he is indeed the most blessed of men.” Dr. Oliver Huckle

Hope you have a real wonderful week and my you look out to help someone in need or just give an encouraging word via digital or on the phone or personal. There is a world out there that needs God.

Love
Rossouw-clan
