Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 26 March 2018

In my attempt to help my friends in the province to earn more of a living, I set of and crisscrossed Cambodia in 3 days to Ratanakiri, Stung Treng and back to Kampong Tom with 8 goats in the back of the bakkie. Heang’s family will take care of the goats now and we will see how it goes.

While with Heang we set also a medical outreach to Chack Vay village. Because of the rain last week, many children were ill and I gave out a lot of medications for fevers, pneumonia and snotty noses. Heang and his brother gave the Word of God to the people and it was great seeing them working together to build relationships.

It was welcome to see the guys cutting the wood for our small building. We got treated with a real yummy lunch of fried frogs and rice. Simplicity is the order of the day. Just love this.

Thank you for praying for my friend Manus Olivier. He got operated on the 20th and is doing much better. Because of the sensitive area he needs to get 5 weeks of intense radiation therapy. This will be a marathon for him, so please pray that God will him through this.

Continue to pray for Fe.

FAITH Journey Update
Half way Done(11/22 cycles)
Praise God for His sustaining Grace. He has been my Strength and my Provider!
Today I'm so thankful that my dear husband Noel was with me. What a great relief and inspiration. He experienced the challenge of running back and forth to request for my meds and the emotion that goes with it... especially after seeing all the cancer patients.
Thanks to Genoveva n Lovely, with Ruby for being there too..full force..feeling blessed!
It was followed by a great meeting and fellowship with Ptr Danny and Sis Ruby Bayasen, our Asian Center for Missions ,Phil director. What a great encouragement to be with them and to hear their own faith journey. We were Mcared! Thanks.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
1. Pls pray for our Cancer patient friends who are depressed and are wanting to quit their chemo treatment because their body and emotion can't handle it. Some are loosing hope and meaning in life. I had the privilege of encouraging them not to quit by sharing my own struggles and victories as i trust in Jesus!
2. Pls pray for my scheduled RADIATION that will take place in April after my Chest CT simulatiin on April 9. This will be everyday except Saturdays n Sundays...for 25 sessions. My boys (Noel, Paul,Joshua) will all be here in manila with me because I need them. Pls pray for our financial needs for our stay in Manila and for my other medical needs.
Im staying strong because of your prayers and encouragements. Your support in your own special way go a long way to keep us moving...in this journey!Be more blessed! Thank you!

The Rossouw-clan is also not 100% up and running. Toinette is still very tired even she is already working. Mordegai is still struggling with an ear infection and is now on his 3rd antibiotic treatment. The boys are doing well.

Thank you for praying for us.
Love
Rossouw-clan
