Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 12 Feb.2018

Kind of a quite week as I am just trying to fix the old Beast again. Yip its up and running again and I took it apart and started to clean it and not the task of putting it together again. It’s a wonderful time for us here in Siem Reap and we are blessed with some nice weather, which is a blessing this time of the year, where dust and smoke is all we get. Seems that we have so much more energy when it’s cool.

The boys are doing well in school. Anton is a real darling coming home every day and so good in sitting down and does his homework on the computer. Gideon is having few good days again and mum is slaving away with school. According to Gideon, Toinette’s religion is,school, hahahaha Toinette is enjoying giving extra classes to her lovely students and come home and tell the sweetest stories about children that is really doing well. I was sharing to a friend that this is the miracles we are holding onto. Continue to pray for us as a family to most of all trust in God for everything in our lives.

Good friends of ours came all the way from Phnom Pehn and we are really having a good time talking about things we love. Good to have same-minded people around us and talk about what we do here. I think that is what all missionaries are struggling with is, having close friends nearby to share with. Pray that we as fellow missionaries will not judge others for what they are doing and how much they are doing for the Kingdom. We come in a rut so quickly of thinking that we are the only ones that do things the right way. Pray that we will reach out to more people and rather encourage than judge.

Continue to pray for:
Nic and Elaine Haydon in England. She is struggling with cancer.
Fe and her family in the Philippines. For her ongoing treatments of chemo.
Ben and Hannah in Thailand. They are awaiting the birth of their first born.

Reading this devotion with the boys:
Saved Through Faith-Ephesians 2:4-10
It’s by grace you’ve been saved through faith.
It’s when we realize we’re messy and we need someone to come clean up our mess that we see God’s work in our lives. When we put our faith in Him and we believe that Jesus came to clean up our mess, that's when we're saved from our sins.
We don’t earn being saved. It’s not a reward for being good. We don’t need to clean ourselves up first. God sent His Son, Jesus, to die for those who don’t have it together, who are a mess, who know they sin. All we need to do is put our faith in God. Jesus takes our messy problems on Himself so that we can live our lives free from them. That way, we can start to live for the good things that God planed for us to do in this life.
Do you need God to save you from your messiness? If so, confess that to Him right now, put your faith in Him, and know that you’re forgiven. Once you’ve done that, it’s time to see what He has in store for your life and to live out the faith you now have.

May this week be a blessed week for you all
Love
Rossouw-clan
