Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 20 November 2017

Wow what a weekend this turned out to be. We had our good friends from Davao came and visit us, Jeff, Lydia and Joshua came all the way to see us only for 2 days and we had a blast. The same time good friends from the States came as well. Kwan, Chris, Chloe and his mum, Brenda came over and we will go to the jungle in the morning. So this lunchtime we had a real international community at our table, Filipino, Thai, Namibian, American, Canadian and even half Japanese, talking about a strange bunch together….. all of them went with Toinette today to go and help with the Mighty Kids. They did some face painting and told a Bible story.

I went out last Monday to a new village near Thor Piang Rosey. My friend Heng and his family went with me. There are 27 families staying in the cleared forest. There is no school and soooo many children. No believers and that made us think. Pray with us that we can send someone to go and make friends with them and build relationships with them. We are thinking of putting up a small building in order to teach school as well us teaching them God’s word. We could help lots of people with meds as they do not have a clinic and the nearest doctor is about 60km away.

Please pray as we will go to Thor Piang Rosey tomorrow and then into the jungle the next day. Pray for safe travel and the car and bikes to last till we come back.

Continue to pray for Fe:
Herceptin Begins
Imagine more than 60 Cancer Patients waiting for their Chemotherapy today. Manila had at least three days holiday due to ASEAN APEC Summit this week...that crowded offices with backlogs.I was served at almost 2 after waiting for my medicine.
My Herceptin treatment started today. 17 more to go! The effect is not that much compared to the first four chemos. Very tolerable but the doctor said that i have to observe my heart which can be the most vulnearable for this medicine.
- Praying for God's favor always. That this meds will be available everytime we need it.
- Provision for my expenses during treatment.
- Praying for my whole family as my boys are transitioning.
- safe trip back to Iloilo tomorrow
Praying for your families and all your respective endeavors.

Please for this land as there are some difficult times ahead due to politics. http://www.phnompenhpost.com/national/death-democracy-cnrp-dissolved-supreme-court-ruling
