Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 12 November 2017

While visiting with a Khmer pastor this week, I realise this more how spreading the gospel, strengthening churches has to be on the top of our list. Yes, helping and extending a hand of mercy is so very important but our main focus should be His Word, His commission. Pray for me and my contact persons to plan better how to strengthen the pastors and lay pastors of our outreach points.

I will travel down to Kampong Tom tomorrow. My friend will bring me to a new outreach in another village. Pray that we will be well received and pray for travel mercies on the way. Sad days for our broken cars. We are trying to revive the Beast/Suzuki. Then the Purple Peril/Tico died also. Just got Maximus Prime/Nissan back from the mechanic as well. O my hard on the budget for a week.

Twans: The new Khmer school year has started.  We are excited for our grade 12 students who will finish this year. Most of them are growing in their walk with God. This morning again I stood watching them as they are helping with our Mighty Kids program. They lead worship, share in cell group, share the Word and truly becoming leaders. We had a team visiting from a church in Kuala Lumpur last week. They also conducted a vocal training seminar with our students. It was great to see how much the students enjoyed singing. At the end they had to stand in choir formation and perform for the rest of the visitors. They were so proud and confident. It was the first time ever that any of them stood in a group singing in front of people. They don’t have music class in school. We have so much to be thankful for, yes even music class in school!

More news from Fe:
BIG TRANSITONS...
My family finally had decided to take our Sabbatical leave after being in Cambodia as a missionary for 18 years. For Paul and Joshua who were born and lived in Cambodia, Philippines is a foreign country for them. Now, the challenges begin:
- we are living with my very kind sister and her family but it should not be for long.We need to have our own space for growing boys.
- Paul and Josh are finally enrolled in a Christian University. Josh is in Grade5, Paul in Grade 9.They had a very warm welcome from new friends. School system is new, language is a barrier, classrooms are full packed and hot, they need to wake up at 4:30am to go to school early before the traffic becomes heavy...and more.
But,all the more we praise God for His sustaining grace.
We really need prayers.
- I will start my 5th Chemo soon.Pray that this very expensive Herceptin meds will be available all the time.
- We need financial support to sustain us in our stay here in the Philippines.
Thank you all for being there for us.

Thank you very much for praying for us. We love hearing from you guys this week.
Love
