Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 6 November 2017

Wow this Monday is not blue it’s all the colours of the rainbow today. What a precious day this is. Late for Anton’s bus for school this morning and totally forgot to pick him up again, so late again, poor bus driver that always need to wait for me. Talk to a foreign friend at the coffee shop this morning, had to wait to eat with a team from Malaysia, need an excuse to have coffee!!! She told me that she and her husband finally are separated after he decided to move in with a Khmer lady. She is a strong Christian and do not understand that the locals do not see anything wrong with it. It all boils down to a worldview that is totally different than what we are used to. Pray with us for married couples, not just here in Cambodia but all over the world that is currently destroyed by the enemy. We just heard about another friend whose marriage is on the rocks cause of a third party, back home. Satan walks around and destroys people left right and centre because we are not close to God anymore. Pray that we will be vigilant and beware of the dangers out there.

We also had our good friends Katherine, Joshau and Long with us for the weekend. Love these guys so much and so glad we have such good friends.

Continue to pray for our friends that struggle with cancer.
Jared is on his way back to NZ for further tests this week. Pray for travel mercies and a healing in Jesus name.
Quinton is still not sure about his outcome. This makes things very stressful. Pray for healing in Jesus name.
Continue to pray for uncle Wynand as well.

Fe’s family is back home in the Philippines.
The NEW SEASON BEGINS :
My boys are here! What a joyful reunion!  After facing those heavy moments of saying goodbyes, packing selling things and clearing , finally they are home.
Despite the stress of beating the time, they came overflowing with excitement to see me but with mixed emotions sharing what they have left in Cambodia...friends, school, pet dog, youth groups, church, ministries, precious things they can't bring.
God in all His grace has allowed us to face every challenge of our life with Faith and Hope that something good is going to happen after this.
Thanks Sis Genoveva for the ride and fir the company i had in picking them up.
We will be taking it slowly from here...the challenge of re-entry for us and the reality of culture for our third culture kids are here.

My good friend Ds.Manus from Swakopmund had a big back operation today. Pray for a successful operation.

Tonight we had all our staff and a team from Malaysia over for a Braai-BBQ and ate our fill with way to much food. We had a great fellowship and it’s great to be with a team that work so well together. The team ministered to the children these last couple of days. We pray that they learned a lot from the team.

Thank you very much for praying for us in this week to come.
Love

Rossouw-clan
