Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 27 November 2017

This year is ending like a bombshell. We just had Chris and Kwan here and the next set of visitors is on our doorstep. We love to have friends coming over and we know it’s a busy time of the year, need to make time to visit with them all is a bit tuff. But we love it and that is how we roll. My best friend Grahame and his family will be here the end of the week. Cannot wait to spend time with them.

Chris and Kwan came with me to Kampong Tom, while his mum, Brenda and daughter, Chloe, stayed with Toinette. We stopped in Thor Piang Rosey and the children were blessed with new dresses, for the girls and colouring of pictures as well as their faces. We could help a lot of sick people as well. I talked to my friend Heng and ask him if he will be willing to go to the new village we visited the other day and make some friends and ask them if they will be open to some school as well as some teaching from the Word.  They are excited to go and tell the people about Jesus and share His love to them. We have big plans for the future but we take it step by step. Will keep you updated. Please pray for open hearts and willingness to be taught.

The next day we took the bikes to Rum Jopon. Poor Chris draws the short straw of getting the worse bike of the 3 but he made it back and forth on that” rickety dickedy” bike. I think he will never forget that trip hahaha. We had a blast with lots of people coming and we could see once again that Malaria is rampant in the jungle. Makes me sad that we cannot buy the meds we need. People are dying here in the bush and if we do not help them, who will??? I praise God that we are able to go and give meds to them. We definitely need to step up our outreaches as there are more people that need meds close by the village. Our next trip will be in a village we always just pass by. Pray for wisdom as we look for new places to go and proclaim God’s word.

FGC Community Link is very busy with lots of teams visiting. This week it was a team with our good friend Sonny and some Malaysians. It is always good when these guys come and encourage the children as well as staff to get closer to God. I loved hanging out with my good friend Sonny. There are still more teams visiting and it will be a very busy few weeks till Christmas with parties and fellowships. Pray for the children to be blessed and open hearts to receive Jesus.

Praise God for my friend Jared. He got the all clear from his tests in NZ.
Continue to pray for Fe as she still needs to get a lot of chemo.

Christmas time is almost here. Pray that in this busyness, we will not forget about the real reason of Christmas. Pray that we would move closer to God in this time.

Love
