Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 15 October 2017

Seems to me the year does not have brakes, as it is speeding to an end. Toinette was just talking about all the Christmas parties they need to prepare for this year and believe you me, its not just one or two. Every little ministry or part of a ministry needs to get a party. Still 2 months to go but already need to be booked.
Tonight I want us to pray for the 2 small churches I worked with in Thor Piang Rosey as well as in Kabal Domrey. In the first church they never had a pastor but only a strong believer that preached. Then when they build the church, the owner or sponsor of the church appointed someone else over the church and he told the one family not to come to church anymore. Because of that, nobody is going to church. Pray that we can intervene and see how we can get around this problem.

In Kabal Domrey they also have a church and although the pastor is very faithful, after 10 years, only a handful of people attend. People are not interested in the World of God. Pray with us for these small churches, there are many of them scattered around the countryside.
I will be on my way again tomorrow to visit them. Pray for safety on the road as well as open hearts while we share God’s love to the people.

Some of you may remember we asked prayer for Ovaltine. He is a member of the River of Life church. He is an alcoholic and his liver cannot take it anymore. He has stopped drinking the last few months and looks so much better. Please continue to pray for his health, and that he would grow closer to God. The students are doing well. We are preparing for the Khmer New school year starting in November. Please continue to pray for the students who are attending church frequently. That they would grow spiritually. Pray for all of us as staff too that we will have wisdom and guidance from God how to walk with and encourage them in their walk with God. Please pray for one of our students, Phearon. He stopped coming during our “No Apologies” seminar when we shared about abstinence. There have been situations before where we could see he is going on a wrong path. Pray that he would open up to our staff during their follow-up and that he would be set free.
.

Continue to lift up our friends, Jacob and Carmen and their 4 children in Tanzania. This last week I flew out to Haydom again with Kirstein, one of the other pilots. Between thunderstorms, strange wind patterns, mini kangaroos (East African Springhare), and a blown tire on a remote airstrip, it was definitely a memorable but long week. Carmen and the children were happy to have me home. You can read more on the blog www.GeymanSteps.blogspot.com
Please be praying for my Pilot License to be transferred. This has been a long process of completing the required exams and submittal. Now we have been waiting for over a month for an email from the FAA to reach the Civil Aviation Authority of Tanzania to finalize the process.

Continue to pray for Fe as she is still continuing her treatment in Manila. Pray for a lot of decisions they need to make for the school here in Siem Reap. Pray also for finances for her treatment
Continue to pray for Uncle Wynand Burger as he needs to go for scans again in a couple of months.

Thank you very much for your faithfulness in praying for us all.
Love
Rossouw-clan
