Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers May 12 2014

Gideon and me, went out this morning and striped a mango tree from its fruits. Luckily our neighbor came along and help as well as we did not had the proper catcher to get the mangoes off. Improvised fishnet, do the trick with a bit of luck. I thought I was at the coast casting and pulling on a fish at some stage. We harvested a lot of mangoes, to much for us. The whole eating table is full. We already made some chutney and jam and next on the menu is to try and make some fruit rolls with the mangoes that fell off and its a bit soft. All the Khmer people are busy drying mangoes and you can buy paper size of dried mangoes in the market. We do not take a lot of mangoes for granted, my mum tells me that she needs to buy a unripe mango for U$2.50 each, if she is crazy enough to do that.

Our staff started a cell group in the one village in order to help the children that gave their hearts to the Lord. They report that the children are very interested to hear more from the Bible and ask really good and valuable questions. Please pray with us for this little group to grow stronger in the Lord. It is also easy now for bigger churches to come and lure them away to greener pastures.

Continue to pray for Toinette and Gideon, doing homeschooling. It stay hard to see your child suffer to concentrate, some days, and other days he do it without any problem. We asked God a million, no I think a trillion times, Why? Well that is Gideon. We love him for who he is and what he do. He is very caring and sweet. On the other hand is Anton. Please pray for him where he is busy finishing this whole year's work in 6 months, so he can graduate in a months time. Nothing stops this little man. Together there is no lack of entertainment in our house. We praise God for our children.

Please pray for Toinette as she will teach in the Introduction of Primary Health Care School, next week. It was great to see the new students in church yesterday. I will have a chance later to show them some tricks in Dentistry............

I know we always end by saying thank you for reading and praying. But without your prayers we cannot do much. So keep praying, thank you.

Love
Rossouw-clan
