Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 13 July 2026

I need to tune my ears in on a station here this afternoon. There are currently 3 parties around us and they all compete for being the loudest. So when 1 stop another blares on, well its most properly retribution for my music everyday hahaha. Not sure what happened this Monday but there are weddings and parties everywhere. That is the Land of Wonders for you, no time to feel sorry for yourself, turn into a song and go with the flow.

We have Indin here with us at home for 2 days and it feels like my own daughter is home. So nice to have another someone here with us. We went swimming this morning and visited some dear friends. They are off now to Bible study and I am trying to write to you on a beat. Please pray for Junmar, Indin’s husband, to get his papers in Malaysia. It is a long and slow process for them to be together again but it’s possible. Pray for his working permits and papers to fall into place. In the meantime, we enjoy Indin around us. Our favorite Pinoys.

The hospital in Banlung informed Gordon that they need to take Ria with the ambulance direct to Phnom Pehn as his current condition worsened. They are afraid for him and need him to get for help asap. Here is an update from Gordon: “”They arrived at Paet Lok Song about 5pm yesterday. According to what Ria told me this morning, the Doctors did some kind of surgery last night already - not sure it was amputation or just cleaning the wound; plus he received blood transfusion. Difficult to get clear report from the family. One of Donnie's staff was going to visit them about now, so hopefully we can get a clear report from the Doctors what is happening. Ria's wife told me they are requesting replacement blood donations, but until now I have not received clear information of how much, where and when the donations are to be given”” Please pray for this family as this must be a big thing for them. I will keep you updated.

Please pray for Anton as he needs to go and see a doctor about his back. He is scheduled to go on Wednesday. He got this bad curve on his back and we are just investigating what can be done with it. Will keep you posted.

Please pray for Dim and his family as they are struggling with his daughter. She is not gaining weight and stay malnourish even when they are feeding her enough. He goes for regular checkups but they only give her some vitamins that do not help. I so wish we had a great doctor here that could look her over. We literally went everywhere and they just say she needs to take vitamins. Their other 3 children are growing very well and only this last one have problems, pray for solutions.

Thank you once again for reading this report. We sound like a broken record when we say that we love you guys for standing with us in prayer. But we are privilege to have so many people around the globe that pray for us.

Love

Rossouw-clan
