Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 16 March 2026

Hey there

Monday night come and go and every week, I sit here and wonder what I can share to you all. We are soooo blessed this side of the world with not too much stress, only in small numbers comparing to the rest of the world. It is 7pm and I just finished working on some cars for the children, next time we are out in the province. So nice to have Anton here to help me in my workshop. He makes all the wheels and believe me that helps a lot. Remember every car needs 4 wheels, so you need to press out 4 times the amount, and then you need to sand it down and drill a new hole etc. Never I could imagine what a small contribution of a toy car can bring to the happiness of a child.

I need to preach in church, this coming Sunday and it’s like always a big thing for me. Never been good in preaching in front of lot of people. Yes, I can talk a lot but when it comes to preaching, I hit a blank. So I am already playing things in my head what I want to bring across. We are nearing Holy week and in Cambodia it falls with the biggest event on the calendar, Khmer New Year and so many people are out of church that lots of them do not bother to celebrate it, due to the big celebrations around. So please pray for me as I need to prepare a sermon, most properly one of the most difficult things for me to do. But God is good all the time…..

Please pray with us for Dim’s little daughter. They came to Siem Reap on the motorbike and the doctors here had to same diagnosis, vitamin deficiency. The little girl is small for her age and missed some of her milestones. Pray that we can prop her up with good nutrition.

Pray that we will not be consumed by all the negative reports of war and violence in the media. Seems to me if you switch something on that is all the media can talk about. So many nice things happening all around us. I feel we need to pray for the young generation like Anton’s age. They are on social media 24/7 and feels the brunt of all these things that are floating around. I could care less as I am thick skinned but the young people love to hang onto or follow someone, good or bad. I will rather not rant on all of these things, drive me crazy all the stupidity that is around us.

Hope you all have a wonderful week and may the Lord bless you all.

Love

Rossouw-clan
